4 toothpicks
Instructions:
Pour boiled water over the aburaage to remove excess oil.
Cut the aburaage into halves, creating square-shaped pouches.
In a pot, combine water, mentsuyu, mirin, sugar, and soy sauce. Mix the ingredients quickly to create a flavorful sauce.
Crack each egg into a small bowl.
Open the aburaage pouches and carefully place one egg into each pouch, closing it with a toothpick.
Place the egg-stuffed pouches in the pot with the prepared sauce.
