Holiday Salad Idea: I've always been a fan of holiday salads featuring brussels sprouts. I’ve been simply just oven-baking them with olive oil and salt. Easy and simple to make, yet the natural sweetness of the brussels sprouts have become a holiday gathering side dish winner.

This time, I wanted to add a touch of winter comfort to the usual oven-baked recipe, and welcomed Yuzu jam, a delightful winter ingredient. It’s often found in Korean markets or Japanese markets. I make it a point to stock up on this gem to elevate my winter pantry. Plus for this year, I had a few jars of my grandma’s Yuzu jam from Japan which made myself feel so lucky.

Incorporating Yuzu jam, syrup, or paste into the brussels sprouts salad brings a unique flavor profile, surpassing the typical sweetness of maple syrup or honey.
