Baked Oreo Cheesecake

Easy Cheesecake Recipe with Everyone’s Favorite, Oreo Cookies

In Japan, White Day holds special significance as a day of reciprocation and appreciation. Falling on March 14th, exactly one month after Valentine's Day, it is a day when individuals express their gratitude by giving gifts in return for the tokens of love they received. Traditionally, it is customary for girls to present chocolates to boys on Valentine's Day, and White Day serves as an opportunity for guys to reciprocate their feelings.

To celebrate White Day and express my gratitude for the roses I received from my husband on Valentine's Day, I decided to create a delightful Baked Oreo Cheesecake. This recipe perfectly combines the beloved flavors of Oreos with the creamy richness of a classic cheesecake, making it an ideal treat for any occasion. Join me as we explore the simple steps to create this heavenly dessert.

RECIPE

Servings: 1x 6 inch round cake

Time: 50 min

Ingredients:

  • 1 box cream cheese

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 2 pcs egg

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 3 tbsp flour

  • 10 pcs oreo cookie

Instructions:

  1. Begin by softening the cream cheese in a bowl. Allow it to come to room temperature.

  2. Add the sugar to the bowl with the cream cheese and mix well until the sugar is fully incorporated.

  3. Crack the eggs into the bowl and gently mix them into the cream cheese and sugar mixture.

  4. Pour in the heavy cream, which will add a luscious texture and richness to the cheesecake. Mix the cream into the batter until it is well combined.

  5. Gradually add the flour to the mixture, stirring gently until it is fully incorporated.

  6. Crush the Oreo cookies by placing them in a plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin or the back of a spoon. Leave some larger chunks for added texture. Add the crushed Oreos to the batter and fold them in gently.

  7. Preheat your oven to 375ºF (190ºC).

  8. Grease a 6-inch round cake pan to prevent the cheesecake from sticking. Transfer the cake mixture into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly to ensure even baking.

  9. Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 40 minutes. The cheesecake should be set around the edges while the center remains slightly jiggly.
